JoAnna began her real estate career in 1979 with Milan and Associates in Lutherville, Maryland working with home builders. She was an Associate Broker with Coldwell Banker/Russell T. Baker in the early 1980's. JoAnna then became a partner in the ERA Champion franchise located on York Road in 1988. Fulfilling a longtime goal in 1990, JoAnna established her own real estate brokerage, ERA Equity Realty.

In 2000, Equity Realty, Inc. was established as an independent real estate firm, keeping and expanding its original staff. With the success of the first office in Carney, Maryland, JoAnna opened a second office in Towson in March, 2004. She continues to lead, instruct and grow her happy and successful team at Equity Realty. JoAnna resides with her family in the Carney area.
